LIITA FORSYTH is an illustrator and designer who has been an art director in the advertising and publishing arenas since the early 1990s. Design is her avenue to watercolors and collage because images are essential to almost every story.

She has illustrated and designed for a diverse range of publications and companies including: Chicagoland Gardening, Chicago Wilderness, Books & Culture, Marriage Partnership, Christian Reader, Today’s Christian Woman, Crossway Books, Sundown Entertainment, Planter’s Palette, The Field Museum, DuPage County Forest Preserve, Audubon, Brookfield Zoo, Intervarsity Press, Greenfield Herb Garden, Livingstone, Mary Rice Hopkins & Co., Domain Communications, Pioneer Clubs, Robin Road, Caspari Center, College Church, Wheaton Eye Clinic, Rush Presbyterian Hospital, Media Associates International, Area Agency on Aging, IFES, and the City of Chicago.

This journey began back in 1985 when she attended the Ringling School of Art & Design, in Sarasota, FL, majoring in illustration. After moving to the Chicagoland area with her husband in 1988, she finished a certificate program at the College of DuPage in Advertising, Design & Illustration.
